Cessation of home couriers for sample collection
As of 24 April 2023, ORIGINS is no longer offering a courier service for home collection of biological samples.
We understand this may cause some inconvenience for those that have been using this service. Unfortunately, it has become cost-prohibitive to continue, particularly with the volume of families now enrolled in ORIGINS.
Options for ORIGINS Sample Drop-off:
- Bring to appointment: If you have a face-to-face appointment booked in with us, bring all your collected samples with you, including the frozen stool in a cooler bag or foam esky provided.
- Drop off to The Kids Joondalup: All samples, including frozen samples, can be dropped to our ORIGINS clinic in Edgewater. Free, convenient parking bays, located directly outside the entrance, are available at this site.
8am - 3pm | Shop 51 / 57 Joondalup Drive, Edgewater - Western Diagnostic Centres: You can drop your fresh samples to one of the Western Diagnostic centres listed below. Please note centre opening hours and complete the relevant forms included in your sample collection packs.
NB: If using this method, please only drop urine, breast milk, saliva and buccal - hold on to your frozen stool until your next set of samples are due or drop them to an ORIGINS clinic directly.
