ORIGINS is moving to a brand new home
The ORIGINS Project paediatric research and data teams are moving to a fabulous new centre in Edgewater.
Located within the Joondalup Gate precinct off Joondalup Drive, Telethon Kids Institute Joondalup will be home to both ORIGINS and CliniKids, another Telethon Kids service.
Some of our families will be familiar with CliniKids, who provide autism therapies and supports for young children, through the TALK and CUBS sub-projects.
As of 10th October, all 1, 3 and 5-year ORIGINS Kids Check appointments will be held at the new centre, which has been specifically fitted-out for the needs of our research and families.
Antenatal and enrolment appointments will continue to be held at the original ORIGINS offices at Suite 213 at Joondalup Health Campus, to suit our mums-to-be visiting the hospital’s antenatal clinic.
The ORIGINS team at Telethon Kids Institute Joondalup will also be accepting sample drop-offs as of 10th October. However, if you have an appointment booked, we encourage you to collect your samples on the day and bring them with you to your appointment.
A reminder: we no longer accept sample drop-offs at Suite 213, at Joondalup Health Campus, unless you are coming in for an ORIGINS antenatal appointment.
With easier parking, brand new facilities and a great location, this is an exciting development for ORIGINS and for research.
Look for the bright aqua band and Telethon Kids signage, as you drive along Joondalup Drive and turn at the Shell service station.
